One of the best in Hip-Hop right now, Griselda’s Westside Gunn sat down with “Bars On I-95” for a long one-hour interview.
On the show, he talked about his latest album “Hitler Wears Hermes 8: Sincerely Adolf,” the eighth installment of his HWH project series.
The former Shady Records rapper was also asked about why he never did a joint with the legendary Eminem. Westside Gunn explained that it wasn’t really into his mind as his style doesn’t match with Eminem.
“When I was signed to Shady, I never even wanted to do an Eminem song. Because they don’t even mix,” says Westside Gunn.
“I don’t do sh*t just because. ‘Oh, I’m with Shady, I gotta do a hundred Eminem songs,’ It wasn’t like that. It was just like, it was an opportunity of being over there with them guys. That’s all I really wanted. But I still wanted to have my sound. Now I’m looking at tryna do movies, I’m a creator. I’m a curator. I wanted to do that ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin’’, ‘8 Mile’ sh*t. I wanted to do all of that sh*t.”
